EMECO
FORTYFOUR RADIO

Developed in response to a branding brief for Emeco, this project translates the brand’s core values and design language into a contemporary radio.

Grounded in Emeco’s restrained, timeless aesthetic, the design reflects a stoic, utilitarian character. It incorporates the brand’s signature aluminium alongside an unconventional material palette, introducing eco-concrete derived from post-consumer waste.

The result is a product that extends Emeco’s material and formal identity into a new typology while maintaining its commitment to durability and sustainability.

Emeco’s design language is marked by simple forms, clean lines and an industrial-chic and timeless appearance. Subtle contrast is achieved through different finishes and by juxtaposing materials - their signature material, aluminium - with wood or recycled plastic, which is sourced from post-consumer and post-industrial waste.
